Trekking to Mera La Pass, Seto Pokhari, Amphu Lapcha Pass:
Furthermore, after having the achieved summit of Mera Peak. We continue to trek on the trail. That goes along the remote mountain valleys towards the crossing of Mera La Pass at 5,415 meters and pass through Seto Pokhari to arrive at Baruntse Base Camp. With extra days of acclimatization at the base camp. We head towards Camp I at an altitude of 6,150 meters at the South-East Ridge.
From there we will have to climb 50 degree’s snow slopes with several technical sections. And it is also done by our experienced climbing experts as we head towards Camp II at 6,450 meters. From Camp II we head towards the summit of Mount Baruntse for enjoying spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and other surrounding high peaks. With this Intention, We will spend short quality time at the summit before descending down to base camp.
In addition, After the achievement of Baruntse Expedition with Mera Peak summit, we will retrace our steps back to Seto Pokhari. From there, our trail is a gradual climb for the crossing of Amphu Lapcha Pass at 5,845 meters. From the top of the pass we descend all the way down to Chhukung, from then we trek passing through Dingboche, Pangboche and Namche Bazaar before arriving back to Lukla. Our adventurous and thrilling climbing adventure of Baruntse Expedition with Mera Peak ends with a sweeping flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu.
